Through the dawn of the DeFi era, the world was introduced to farming — the never-ending pursuit of finding the best place to put crypto-assets to work to earn a fair yield. Now it is time to introduce something better, something that the wild Chonker does on a daily basis: Fishing. From catching FISH to claiming rare, exotic NFTs, this is truly the next leap for the DeFi degeneration.

The Loud Meow That Began It All

About 11 days ago, $CHONK awoke from its lair after Telegram called its name. Shockingly, the fat beast took only 3 days to roll out of bed and launch. In that time, it has blossomed into a wonderful community full of love for chonkers, DeFi, and art.

Gone Fishin’

This weekend, the Chonk Protocol will launch parallel to the Main Course menu of NFTs.

The first NFT collections will be spread across two fishing pools, STAKING pool where you catch FISH with $CHONK, and LP pool, where FISH is caught by becoming a liquidity provider. Fishing with Uniswap V2 LP tokens in the LP pool helps the $CHONK community increase token liquidity.

Introducing our first collection menu series: Main Course

For each $CHONK fishing in the Main Course pools, you will earn around 0.5 FISH per day. You can go fishing with a maximum of 10 $CHONK each day. Each $CHONK will get you an equivalent FISH. (2 CHONK = 1 FISH). There’ll be a maximum cap of 5 FISH each day. (LP pools will have a max limit of 5 $UNIV2-LP)
